The Ultimate Cinnamon Rolls
These cinnamon rolls are pillowy soft and packed with sweet cinnamon flavor. The secret is the heavy cream poured over them before baking!
Ingredients
- Dough: 4 cups flour, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 cup warm milk, 1 packet yeast, 1/2 cup butter.
- Filling: 1 cup brown sugar, 3 tbsp cinnamon, 1/2 cup butter.
- Frosting: Cream cheese, powdered sugar, butter, vanilla.
Instructions
- Activate yeast in warm milk. Mix dough ingredients and knead until smooth.
- Let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
- Roll out dough, spread filling, and roll up tight. Cut into 12 rolls.
- Place in pan and let rise again for 30 mins.
