Warm Cinnamon Berry Compote
Use any mix of berries for this. Frozen berries work beautifully.
Ingredients
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water or orange juice
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- The berries will break down and sauce will thicken.
- Remove cinnamon stick and serve warm.
