Slow Cooker Beef Stew
A hearty, warming stew that cooks itself while you enjoy your snow day.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef chuck roast, cubed
- 4 carrots, 3 potatoes, 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cups beef broth, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Thyme, rosemary, bay leaf.
Instructions
- Season beef with salt and pepper. Brown in a skillet for best flavor.
- Add beef and veggies to slow cooker.
- Pour in broth and seasonings.
- Cover and cook on Low for 7-8 hours or High for 4 hours.
- Thicken gravy with a cornstarch slurry if needed before serving.
